Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the Estate by Syanor experience.
What is Mourabaha financing?
Mourabaha is a form of Islamic financing. Unlike a conventional loan with interest, the bank purchases the property and resells it to you at a price increased by a profit margin agreed in advance. Payment is spread over a fixed term. Estate by Syanor has negotiated agreements with partner banks to make this arrangement easier for Tunisians living abroad.
Do I have to travel to Tunisia to sign the deed of sale?
No. Thanks to our partner notaries, you can grant a specific power of attorney (certified at the consulate in your country of residence) that allows a trusted third party to sign the purchase deed on your behalf, fully lawfully.
How do you verify that the title deed is in order?
Estate by Syanor coordinates systematic checks with its partner notaries and lawyers (Blue Title, absence of mortgages, compliance with the development plan) before a property receives the 'Verified' badge on our platform. If there is serious doubt about a title, the property is not published.
How does the search mandate work?
You define your criteria for us (budget, location, surface area). A dedicated property hunter carries out searches across the entire market (agencies, private sellers, developers). They pre-visit the properties, send you detailed video reports and negotiate the price on your behalf.
Do you manage short-term rentals (Airbnb)?
Yes, our concierge and rental management service handles seasonal lettings. We take care of cleaning, check-in/check-out and pricing to maximise your yield while still leaving you the option to enjoy the property during your own holidays.
